Celebrating 15 years of I Pour Life!
To kick off our Backyard Birthday Bash, we collaborated with the Springfield Chamber of Commerce to hold a ribbon cutting ceremony. Our team had the backyard ready for a special 15th birthday celebration, and more than 20 Chamber members attended the ribbon cutting ceremony.
Shortly after our team cut the ribbon, the rain began, and everyone had to move indoors. Executive Director Ben McBride thanked everyone for their support and kind words. Reaching 15 years as a nonprofit is significant, and our organization has undergone numerous changes throughout the years. I Pour Life has continued to make a lasting impact in the lives of marginalized individuals, helping break the cycles of poverty and empowering them to create better futures.
As we enter the next 15 years, we’re energized by the positive life changes older, at-risk, exploited, and foster youth will experience.
Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, our Backyard Birthday Bash also moved indoors. The house was PACKED. We estimated around 70 guests attended, which, if you’ve been to the I Pour Life house, you know, is a lot of people to pack indoors due to the rain!
