This year I Pour Life celebrates 15 years of service, and there’s something special about reflecting on our origins and how far we’ve come. For many nonprofits, sustainability is often a challenge, and those that do stick around must emerge and evolve to remain relevant.
Thanks to the leadership and vision of many individuals, we have the honor of celebrating the impact of 15 years of service. Although the way we serve has changed, our mission to develop people has remained. This year, we have an opportunity to look back and celebrate the lives changed.
From our earliest days serving in El Salvador and Ethiopia to serving older, at-risk youth here in Missouri, our vision has always been centered around development.
Since 2015, I Pour Life has focused on helping older, at-risk, exploited, and foster care youth build essential life skills and social capital throughout Missouri. LifeStrengths has now grown into a nationally recognized innovative solution for helping nearly 2,000 of at-risk youth leave negative labels behind and successfully transition into adulthood. Our Social Capital Club, launched in 2022, has become a consistent conduit for building meaningful relationships.
One way we’re celebrating I Pour Life’s 15 amazing years is through our 15 for the Next 15 campaign. We’re inviting donors to give a one-time gift of $150 or give $15 a month as a part of The Neighborhood, our community of monthly donors. You can make a gift here!
