Leading Positive Youth Development in Dallas
Evidence-Based Development Strategy
When youth are paired with a LifeCoach who invests in them, believes in them, and coaches them to become self-sufficient, they are able to release past labels, break the cycle of generational poverty and reliance on government subsidies, and pursue their dreams.

Our Unique Approach
Through one-on-one and group meetings in local high schools, LifeCoaches will help youth discover their strengths, make plans for their futures, and stand in the gap for at-risk youth. Site-based LifeCoaches work alongside teachers, counselors, and administrative school staff to help every youth graduate high school prepared for a self-sufficient adulthood.

Maya Angelou High School
The Maya Angelou School, proudly serves students in the Dallas Independent School District that are pregnant and/or parents. 100% of these girls are considered at-risk of dropping out of school. We are thrilled to share that one of the students of Maya Angelou, that is a part of our I Pour Life family, was able to defy the odds and graduate.

JL Patton Academic Center
The Vision
Through one-on-one and group meetings in local high schools, LifeCoaches will help youth discover their strengths, make plans for their futures, and stand in the gap for youth who are at-risk, in the foster care and judicial systems, Child Protective Services, and who struggle with homelessness. Site-based LifeCoaches work alongside teachers, counselors, and administrative school staff to help every youth graduate high school prepared for self-sufficient adulthood. I Pour Life’s site-based coaching will also extend to after-school hour programs to provide developmental support in the lives of at-risk youth after the school day ends.
